A day like mine
Somedays I wonder where all my time goes. I wake up with a list of things to do and somehow by the time I go to bed, healf of them are still waiting for Tommorow.
Today was not different. My alarm rang at 7 AM. I turned it off and checked my phone and replied to absolutely nothing. I was still lying at my bed Wondering if I should really get up instead of just chilling in my bed.
Breakfast was reminded by usual reminders. Dint forget this and don't forget that. Have you done what you were supposed to do yesterday? I answered it with usual "I'll do it" while mentally addung those tasks to an already over crowded list.
I sat down to work and opened my laptop, stared at the screen. There were things I wanted to accomplish, the plans I was excited about and deadline that were getting uncomfortably close. I switched between tabs and watched a few videos that I didn't need to watch and somehow became tired than any person who didn't do anything would become.
I rushed through breakfast and packed my bag and left wondering if I had remembered everything. Somewhere on my way, I realised that hadn't charged my laptop. Yup. A perfect start.
College was its usual mixture of attendance and lectures and unfinished notes and friends whisperint about things that had absolutely nothing to do with the subject thought. One professor announced an upcoming internal test and suddenly the whole class become attentive. Everyone wanted to know the syllabus and the he important questions and the whether the ets would be postponed.
During lunch, me and my friends discussed everything other than academics. We complained about time table , shared food and laughed together at an embarassing things we done 3 semesters ago and promised to study together for the upcoming exam knowing that we won't even start until the last night of the exam v
Back home, I opened my laptop with intention of finishing assignment. Instead I checked messages and watched a few videos and somehow ended up comparing internship opportunities. One person has received an offer and another has completed a certification. I was happy for them. Genuinely. But a part of me was wondering whether I was doing enough.
By night, I have completed one assignment, made a little progress on another and postponed the next one.
I don't know where I will end up after graduation. I don't know whether all these late night, unfinished projects and exam preparation will lead exactly where I hope they will.
When you feel like you're not doing enough, do you
