I particularly find this irritating and infuriating because this story is so relatable. A genuine gesture to assist becomes the whole responsibility. Then they say that they expected more from us so that they could have an easy time. I hate it when people do not understand that 'help' does not mean 'I will do it for you'.

I really liked the idea that trust is built through small promises, not just big gestures. Sometimes simply being someone others can depend on is one of the most meaningful things we can offer. ❤️
