A letter to my younger self

Dear Younger Me,I wish I could sit beside you for a little while, perhaps on the floor of your childhood room, and tell you a few things about the life waiting ahead. I know you have so many questions about the future. You wonder what you will become, whether your dreams will come true, whether people will always stay, and whether
you will eventually figure everything out.Well, I have some news for you. You won’t figure everything out, and that’s perfectly fine.First, please don’t be in such a hurry to grow up. I know adulthood looks exciting from where you stand. You probably think being older means having complete freedom, making your own decisions and living life exactly the way you want. But there will be days when you miss being a child, when your biggest responsibility was finishing homework before going outside to play. Enjoy those little moments. You will miss them more than you can imagine.I also want you to know that not everyone you love will remain a part of your life. Some friendships will fade, some people will
disappoint you, and some relationships will teach you lessons you never asked to learn. Don’t let those experiences turn your heart cold. Continue being kind, but learn that kindness doesn’t mean allowing everyone to cross your boundaries. And please, stop comparing yourself to other people. There will always be someone who seems prettier, smarter, more talented or more successful. You might sometimes feel like you are falling behind while everyone else is moving forward. But life isn’t a competition with a fixed finishing line. Everyone has their own timeline, struggles and little victories. Learn to celebrate yours. There will also be days when things don’t go according to your plans. You will make mistakes, change your mind, question your abilities and occasionally feel completely lost.
Don’t mistake these moments for failure. They are simply reminders that you are human and still learning. One more thing: never make yourself smaller just to make other people comfortable. Your opinions matter. Your dreams matter. Your happiness matters too. You don’t have to earn the right to be loved by constantly proving your worth.
I wish I could tell you that everything will be easy, but that wouldn’t be honest. What I can promise is that you will discover strengths you never knew you possessed. You will find happiness in unexpected places, laugh at things you once cried about and slowly understand that life has more possibilities than you imagined.
So, dear younger me, keep your curiosity alive. Dance without worrying about how you look, ask silly questions, take photographs, enjoy family gatherings and appreciate the people
who make ordinary days memorable. Most importantly, don’t spend your childhood worrying about the person you are going to become.
You are already someone worth loving. With all the love I should have given myself a little earlier,Your Older Self.
When your younger self asks if they will figure everything out, you
Your vote is final.
Oh my god this is making me cry cause I would also cry if someone said this to my younger self
