Bananas are barriers and strawberries are not?.

I learned today that bananas are technically berries, while strawberries technically aren't Obviously, my brain needed answers. I searched why then somehow ended up reading about botanical definitions, seed structures, tomatoes, watermelons, and the strange ways scientists classify fruits. Thirty minutes later,I was standing at my kitchen and staring at my fruit bowl like it had been lying to me my entire life. Science is amazing when curiosity takes over . One tiny fact can completely destroy your confidence in something you thought you understood.
