Choosing a different path.

Today, I decided to take a different route home just because I wanted a change. Nothing extraordinary happened, but I noticed small houses, trees, and shops I had ignored for years. The journey took a little longer, yet I did not mind. It felt refreshing to break a routine I had stopped questioning.

I realized routines are useful , but they can also make lifevfeel automatic. Sometimes we repeat the same choices simply because they are familiar. Tonight, I wondered how many possibilities I miss by always choosing the easiest path. Perhaps occasionally changing direction is not about escaping life, but noticing it again.
