Deleting things I no longer need
Today, I cleaned my phone and deleted hundreds of old screenshots., files, and random pictures. I expected it to feel like ordinary digital cleaning, but some images made me pause. There were conversations inhad forgotten places I no longer visit, and versions of myself I barely recognized anymore.
Deleting them felt strangely emotional because digital clutter can hold pieces of our past. Still, I realized keeping everything does not preserve every memory. Some momories remain meaningful without occupying storage. Tonight,my phone feels lighter, and strangely, so does my mind. Maybe letting go can sometimes be a quiet from of moving forward.

This is so relatable. Cleaning your phone sounds like such a simple task until you come across an old picture or screenshot and suddenly you’re remembering an entire phase of your life. Sometimes we’re not really deleting pictures, we’re letting go of little pieces of moments we’ve already moved past. It can feel weirdly emotional, even when you know you don’t need those things anymore. 🥹🤍
