Five Rupees
My friend owed me ₹5.
Not ₹500.
Not ₹50.
Just ₹5.
I reminded him about it for almost two years.
Every time he saw me, he'd say,
“I haven't forgotten.”
One day he suddenly gave me ₹10.
I said, “I only asked for ₹5.”
He said,
“₹5 is the money I owe you. The other ₹5 is for all the reminders.”
We both laughed.
I still have that ₹10.
Not because it was valuable.
Because somehow, ₹5 became one of our longest-running friendships.

I did the same with my friend, she owed me 13₹😂 and I kept reminding her everytime me met 😅😂
This is such a beautiful story. It's funny how sometimes the smallest things just ₹5 become the reason for the biggest friendships.
