from "I'm hurting about the past" to "i need to handle this moment".

Yesterday i met with an accident way back to home from fun day outing with my cousin nd sis ,it wasn't so intense nd none of us got much hurt ,but since that was sudden, my mind was blank for a moment , i felt a little dizziness but next moment we were laughing the nervous laugh.. can say .
And it made me realize one thing for sure....
"A small pain brought me back to the present..where I could still get hurt and be okay..nd for once, the past wasn’t the whole world of mine... "
.maybe that was all it took.
For so long i was hurting about the past..
I had let go of the ppl..
..already forgiven them..
but the pain was still there.. hurting me...i was still somehow ..living in the memories...
Nd yesterday for a moment, i had something else to hold.. A pain...
A sudden scare.. the physical one.
My sister beside me , my cousin there nd somehow, we were still laughing.. telling our parents on call abt it...
It reminded me..
I can get hurt nd still be okay...
I'm here.. they re here ..We r laughing..
Nd suddenly...maybe.. the breakup didn't feel like the whole world anymore.
My mind went from "I'm hurting about the past "..to .."i need to handle tis moment. "
Maybe i just needed to remember that there is still a present...
Waiting for me to live in.. nd somewhere between the fall nd laughter on the way back home...
I felt a little bit of me return.
This is deeply reflective and beautifully captures that strange moment when something unexpected pulls you out of your own thoughts. 🤍 The contrast between the accident, the nervous laughter, and realizing you were still here with people you love makes the message feel very real. The last line—“I felt a little bit of me return”—is especially beautiful. It gives the whole piece a quiet sense of healing without making it feel forced.
