on "How 24 hours is not enough these days"

This is honestly something I think a lot of people can relate to because sometimes it feels like the day ends before we even get a chance to breathe. There is always something waiting to be done, whether it’s college work, assignments, messages, responsibilities, future plans, or simply trying to find some time for ourselves. What really stood out to me was the thought that we aren’t only running out of time for work, we’re also running out of time for ourselves. We keep telling ourselves that we’ll rest later, spend time with people later, enjoy the evening later, or finally do something we love when everything on the list is finished. But somehow, the list never really ends. There will always be another task, another deadline, another responsibility waiting for us. I think sometimes we need to remember that being productive every single minute isn’t the same as having a fulfilling life. Slow evenings, doing absolutely nothing for a while, talking to someone, sitting quietly, or simply getting enough rest are also important parts of life. Maybe the goal shouldn’t be to fit everything into 24 hours, but to understand what genuinely deserves our time and what can wait. Sometimes we don’t need more hours in the day; we need permission to stop feeling guilty for using some of those hours for ourselves. 🤍
