I needed to ask only one thing

I needed to ask only one thing. Just one line. Ma'am, in the notice, should I write "shall remain suspended" or "will remain suspended"? That was it. It was around 8 PM. I had already made the notice 3 times. First time Ma'am said the font is wrong. Second time she said add the date. Third time she said check with senior Ma'am. So I called senior mam
First call - no answer. I thought okay, maybe she is busy. After 10 minutes, I called again. Again no answer. I messaged on WhatsApp - "Ma'am, freeho toh please call kar dena, notice ka ek doubt hai." She saw the message. I saw two blue ticks. But no reply.
Then I called the third time at 8:45 PMStill no answer. Now I started feeling nervous. Because principal Ma'am had said send it tonight only before 10 PM. It was already 9 PM. I called the 4th time.5th time. 6th time. My heart was beating fast. I was thinking - will she think I am irritating her? But what should I do? If I send the wrong notice, principal Ma'amwill scold me in front of everyone.
At 9:30 PM, I called the 7th time. This time she picked up and said in a very rude voice - "Kya hai? Kitni baar call karogi?"
I was shocked. I said, "Sorry Ma'am, actually notice..."
She cut me off and said, "Kal subah baat karte hain, abhi I am busy," and cut the call.
I sat with my phone in my hand. I felt so small. Like I had done some crime by calling. My eyes had tears. I didn't know what to do. It's 9:40 PM. The deadline is 10 PM. Finally, I just sent the notice with "shall remain suspended" as per my own understanding. I wrote in the group, "Ma'am, I have sent the notice as discussed, please check." No one replied.
Next morning in school, senior Ma'am came and said in the staffroom loudly - "Kuch logon ko raat mein bhi chain nahi hai, baar baar call karte rehte hain."
Everyone looked at me. I just kept looking down at my register. I didn't say anything.
That day I learned, in a job, sometimes you have to take decisions alone. No one replied

That day I learned, in a job, sometimes you have to take decisions alone. No onewill actually help you when you need it. You have to be ready to be scolded either way - if you call, and if you don't call.
