I can relate. Socializing is not everyone's cup of tea, especially not mine. I don't mind people around me but talking to people and pretending that I like talking to them is a task for me. After every meet I need time to recover.

Honestly, the older I get, the more I understand this feeling. 😭 Sometimes it's not even that we dislike people or don't enjoy going out, it's just that being at home feels so much more comfortable than having to socialise, make conversation, and constantly be around people. There are days when you genuinely want to meet everyone, and then there are days when even replying to a message feels like a task. 😂 The funniest part is that you can have the best time outside and still be excited to get back home, change into comfortable clothes, and sit peacefully doing absolutely nothing. I think people sometimes misunderstand this as being boring or antisocial, but honestly, enjoying your own company is such an underrated thing. Not every free day needs plans, and not every silence needs to be filled with conversation. Sometimes all you need is your favourite corner, a little sunlight, your phone, and the comfort of knowing nobody expects you to be anywhere else. Home really does hit differently when your social battery is running on 2%. 😭🤍
