Mountains

There is something about mountains that cannot be explained completely through words. You can photograph them, paint them, write poems about them, or stand quietly in front of

them for hours, and still feel that you have only understood a tiny part of their beauty.Perhaps it is because mountains do not try to impress you.

They simply exist.Tall, silent, patient and ancient.

Whenever I look at mountains, I feel as if time slows down for a while. The noise of the world becomes distant. The endless notifications, deadlines, expectations and unnecessary

thoughts somehow lose their importance. All that remains is the cold breeze, the sound of leaves moving, the clouds floating betweenpeaks and the enormous silence surrounding everything. And strangely, that silence never feels empty. It feels comforting.

Mountains have witnessed generations come and go. They have seen seasons change, villages grow, roads being built and countless people arriving with their own stories. Yet they remain where they have always been, quietly watching everything unfold.Maybe that is why they teach us something without ever speaking. They teach us patience.

A mountain does not become majestic overnight. It takes centuries of weather, storms, rain, snow and sunlight to create what weadmire today. And perhaps human beings are not so different. We also become stronger through experiences that we once wished we could avoid

There are days when the mountains are covered with clouds and you cannot see their peaks at all. But you know they are still there.I think life is sometimes like that too.

There are moments when our path becomes unclear. We cannot see where we are going or what lies ahead. But uncertainty does not mean that everything has disappeared. Sometimes,

we simply have to wait for the clouds to move.My favourite thing about mountains is how beautifully they hold opposites together. They can be powerful yet peaceful.Cold yet comforting.

Massive yet somehow calming.Their slopes can look harsh from a distance, while tiny flowers grow quietly between the rocks.

Perhaps that is the real beauty of mountains: they never pretend that life is perfectly smooth. Their beauty exists alongside their roughness.

Standing among them reminds me that beauty does not always need perfection.Sometimes it is found in crooked roads, misty mornings, old wooden houses, distant lights glowing after sunset and the sound of rain against a window.Sometimes beauty is simply drinking something warm while looking at a mountain covered in fog.

And sometimes, beauty is doing absolutely nothing.Just sitting there.Breathing.Looking.Existing.

Maybe that is why people return to mountains even after leaving them.Because mountains don’t just give you a view. They give you a feeling.

A feeling of being small, but not insignificant.A feeling that the world is much larger than your worries.A feeling that no matter how chaotic life becomes, somewhere there is still a quiet place

where the clouds move slowly and the mountains stand patiently. And perhaps that is enough.Maybe we don’t always need answers.

Sometimes, we just need a mountain in front of us, a little silence around us, and enough time to hear our own thoughts again.
