To be an old soul.....
It was a so called "gift" given to me
From past lives? Reincarnation?
No
It was a trait bestowed upon me
I never chose it
A "compliment" given to me too often
The reality?
Being forced to grow up far too soon
The pressure of the world
The reality of life thrown at me
A child, the peice maker, the glue
The one holding the pressure keeping the family together
No childhood
Just struggle, fear, sadness
A child observing and living with adult responsibilities
A symbol of trauma and un-healed psychological scars
Mot a crown
Not a proud label
Not a "gift"

This is like reading about me because people easily say that I am an easy child and that I am so I understanding and not stubborn but I am also a child...ofc I understand my parents situation but I am a child who is also seeing the world for the first time...even if I am given chance again, I would do the same but I wish I had a life that I didn't need to choose the things I did in this life
