regret for everything
Sometimes I feel that we all have been here for feeling regret. We do all things whether by choice or by force, we regret at the end of the chapter. Life is all about dissatisfaction. When we get the things, we regret for what we didn't get. Why we think of that unattaining thing, and disgrace of what we got. And that feeling gives birth to regret in our mind. Like me, I have a happy family, my children are having better life than I had in my childhood. My in laws having much better time that my own parents are having currently. All these are in other forms of a regret, that why could I have that childhood or why my parents are not living life like my in laws.
Perhaps all this feeling of regret gives the kick of desire to be better in life. This feeling of regret is the essential part of our colorful life. Which is full of different colours like sadness, happiness, joy, hopes and being hopeless.
Maybe regret isn’t always a sign that we chose wrong. Sometimes, it’s simply the shadow cast by the life we wished we could have lived. And perhaps that’s what makes us human—we grieve what we missed while learning to cherish what we have. Beautifully expressed. 🌿✨
Regret is a driving force in life. I think without regret we would never know what being glad felt like!
