Sometimes I feel like everyone else received a secret instruction manual for life, and somehow mine got lost in the mail.
People around me seem to know what they're doing. Someone is getting a job, someone is travelling, someone is getting married,someone is building a career and someone is confidently announcing their five-year plan.
And then there's me, staring at my ceiling at 1 a.m., wondering whether I should be proud of myself for surviving the day.
I know comparison is pointless. I know everyone's timeline is different. I know social media only shows the polished version.
Still, some days, I feel behind.
Not necessarily unsuccessful. Just… late.
Late to figure myself out. Late to become confident. Late to know what I actually want. Late to stop caring so much about what other people think.
But maybe there isn't actually a deadline.
Maybe life isn't a race where everyone is supposed to reach the same destination at the same age.
Maybe I'm allowed to take the scenic route.
I don't have everything figured out yet.
And honestly?
I'm starting to think that's not failure.
Maybe I'm just still becoming.

This is so relatable. Sometimes it really does feel like everyone around you has their life figured out while you’re just trying to understand what you’re supposed to do next.
