Spilling water

What happens when Dr Doofenshmirtz's quote "ah water, it's like drinking wet air" combines with his another quote "if I had a nickel for every time I was doomed by a puppet I would have to nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice"? I found the answer to it but it took a few years.
I was 4 years old. My dad decided to take us to a nearby restaurant. I was excited. I had worn my favorite dress. I had also worn my favourite earrings, bracelet, and shoes. It was a special day for me. With all dressed up, looking pretty we went to the restaurant. We sat down at a table. The restaurant was pretty much empty. It had been almost 5 minutes since we sat down. The host ordered the waiter to bring water to our table. I saw the waiter rushing towards our table. Even at the age of 4 my instinct had been telling me that a disaster was going to take place. Of course my instincts were correct.
The waiter had been carrying a trey with glasses filled with water. When the waiter reached our table somehow he lost the control of his trey. The glasses moved as per the laws of gravity and tumbled. They did not just tumble but they swayed to one side spelling the water. Unfortunately this happened exactly where I had been sitting. I was at the receiving end of at least a litre of ice cold water on my entire body. From top to toe I was completely drenched. Not a single inch on my body was left dry.
This incident definitely made my dad angry. He scolded the entire hotel management. The staff continued to apologize. I was too embarrassed and cold to understand what was going on. I did what a four year old would do in such situation - I started crying. Each moment was becoming unmanageable for my mother. I was crying, my dad was angry, and my elder sister was hungry. My mother decided that it was the right time for us to head home. Without eating we left the restaurant.
Now it was not just one incident. Similar incident took place when I was 22 years old. It was a day when I decided to take my parents for lunch to a restaurant. I was wearing a nice outfit. We sat down at the restaurant deciding what to order. This time also from the corner of my eyes I saw a waiter approaching our table. My Instinct told me that something bad was going to happen and as usual they were not wrong. As soon as the waiter stopped at our table the jug filled with water tumbled and entire jug got emptied on me. I was completely drenched in water. This time I was angry and embarrassed. I scolded the entire management. I told them that I would leave a bad review. They apologize to me but it was not going to help me. We left from that restaurant without eating anything.
Now this was a bizzare accident that happened twice with me. It is not a lot but it is weird that it happened twice.
When a waiter accidentally spills water on you in a restaurant, do you
Your vote is final.
When the article started with Dr Doofenshmirtz's quote, I knew it was going to be hilarious. Though it was a funny read of unfortunate events, I could imagine how embarrassed you must have felt after the incidents. Looking back they feel funny but at that moment they make us visceral. Your reaction was valid.
