The day I stopped assuming everyone was watching

Today, I made a small mistake in a crowded place and felt embarrassed immediately my face became warm, and I wanted to disappear. Then I noticed people continuing their conversations without caring within minutes, everyone had moved on.bi realized I had been carrying an audience in my head that never existed.

People online often describe how intensely they believe strangers notice them. I have experienced that many times without naming it.bToday gave me perspective. Other people have their own worries, plans and distractions. I do not need to perform perfection. for an audience that is barely watching

I deeply relate to you. Right from my childhood I was told that people would think ill of me if I do something not considered ideal. I was unnecessarily conscious about everything. In my adulthood I realised that everybody is too busy to notice us.
