The fear of being forgotten

Anonymous1 hour agoWrite Freely107 words

Today, I found an old photograph Buried in my phone gallery . It showed a group of friends laughing together, and for moment, I wondered whether we would still remember this exact day years later. It felt strange realizing that ordinary moments can become precious only after they have quietly disappeared from our lives.

I suddenly wanted to stop rushing through everything. Maybe one day, I will miss these messy college days, random conversations, shared jokes, and even stressful mornings, I cannot preserve every moment, but I can be present for them . Tonight, I saved the photograph and smiled, grateful that this moment happened at all.

This really made me pause and think. We often rush through our days without realizing that these ordinary moments might become the memories we miss the most someday. Beautifully written. 🤍

Time flies in school and college. When I started working I realised how much fun I had missed during my college days. The missed opportunity made me cry because I could not go back in time to grab those opportunities or have fun.
