The Love That Came After HeartbreakClass 10th
The Love That Came After HeartbreakClass 10th. That age when we don't know the difference between attraction, addiction, and love. I was in 10th, he was in 9th. One look and I was gone. I don't know what it was—his face, his attitude—but I got addicted to him like a habit you know is wrong but you can't leave. Deep down I knew he was not a good man for me. But a teenage heart doesn't listen to logic. That addiction continued until Class 11th, when everything finally broke. The breakup.
And that breakup didn't just break my relationship, it broke me. The girl who laughed loudly, who believed in fairytales, who trusted easily—she died that year. I became a different person. Cold. Practical. A girl who said, "I will never fall in love again."And then Class 12th came. The year of boards, of pressure, of the future. And exactly then, destiny sent someone else.He came after my 12th started. At first, I said NO to him. Strictly no. I was scared. I had built such high walls that I thought no one could ever climb them again. But he was different. He didn't get angry at my 'no'. He didn't leave. He stayed. His efforts were so pure, so consistent. He didn't try to impress me with big words, he impressed me with small actions. Being there when I cried, listening to my nonsense, handling my mood swings that even I couldn't handle. One day he told me something that melted me completely. He said, "Maine ek mandir mein mannat maangi thi... ki tum mujhe mil jao."
At that moment it hit me—when I was crying alone thinking no one wanted me, somewhere, someone else was praying to God, asking for ME. How could I say no to a prayer?Slowly, unknowingly, I got addicted to him. But this addiction was not painful, it was peaceful. It was like home.
It wasn't easy after that either. Life tested us a lot. Our life had many downfalls. The biggest one—my family didn't accept him. They said no. That phase almost broke us. To love someone and not get your family's blessing is the most painful feeling. But he didn't give up on me, and I didn't give up on him. We fought, we cried, we held each other through all of it.And today? Today my family accepts him. Today we are together, very very happy. Together since 3 years. Still leading, still growing.
This story taught me one thing that I want every girl to know—First love is not always true love. Sometimes your first love is just a lesson. It's the second love, the love that stays, that suffers, that prays for you in a temple—that is more involved, more real, and more forever. From a broken girl in 11th who stopped believing in love, to a girl in 12th who found a love that prayed for her—this is not just a love story.
This is my comeback.
When someone you love deeply is rejected by your family, do you
Your vote is final.
10th standard is the time when our heart is the purest and when we feel the most strongly in my opinion .Our childhood innocence blending with our desire to have independence like the adults.Yet i am truly happy you find your happiness despite all you've been through. Lot of love and happiness for you❤️
