The photograph she took

My friend showed me a collection of photographs she had taken without my knowledge. Most were ordinary moments me laughingat lunch, struggling with an umbrella, and concentrating on a crossword. I usually hate photographs of myself because I think 🤔 I look awkward. But in these pictures, I looked genuinely happy 😁. I asked why she had taken so many . She shrugged and said she liked seeing me forget to worry about how I looked I felt embarrassed then unexpectedly emotional. I spent so much time noticing everything i dislike about myself that I rarely recognise the person other people enjoy spending time with.
