The Problem With an Overthinking Mind 🧠

I think the hardest thing about overthinking is that your mind never really knows when to stop.
A small conversation becomes ten different possibilities.
A late reply becomes a hundred questions.
Something that happened yesterday suddenly becomes a problem you are trying to solve again at 2 a.m.
And the strange part is, sometimes nothing is actually wrong.
Your mind just keeps asking, “But what if…?”
What if I said something wrong?
What if they meant something else?
What if things change?
What if the thing I'm afraid of actually happens?
You can be sitting in a completely quiet room and still feel exhausted from a conversation that's happening entirely inside your head.
Maybe that's what makes overthinking so tiring.
The situation ends, but your mind keeps living in it. ❤️🩹
