The unsent message

I found an old chat while clearing space on my phone πŸ“± tonight. It was with someone. I used to tell everything to. There were blurry photos, terrible jokes, voice notes recorded while walking home, and messages that made no sense outside our little world.

I stopped scrolling when I reached the last conversation. Nothing dramatic had happened. No argument, no betrayal, no final goodbye πŸ‘‹πŸ», we had simply started replying later, I yen less often , until silence became normal.

For a moment, I typed , " Hey, how have you been?". I started at it, wondering whether it would feel welcome or arrive like an interruption. Then I deleted it and locked my phone πŸ“±.

I don't know if I miss the person, the friendship, orvthe version of life when talking to them was part of every day.

Have you ever wanted to reconnect with someone but couldn't findba natural way back?.

Sometimes we don’t just miss people; we miss the little world we once shared with them. I think the hardest part of reconnecting is not knowing whether the other person remembers those little moments as fondly as we do. Maybe a simple β€œHey, how have you been?” is sometimes all it takes to reopen a door. ❀️
