The wrong wedding guest
I arrived at the wrong wedding reception today. The invitation had been forwarded to me without the venue details, and I confidently walked into a half full of unfamiliar relatives. An elderly woman hugged me and asked how my exams were going. I was too confused to explain. Twenty minutes later, I discovered my mistake while admiring the decorations. I apologised to the family.who laughed and insisted I eat before leaving. I returned home with a box of sweets and a story nobody will let me forgot. Sometimes, being completely out of place turns out to be a surprisingly pleasent experience.

This is hilarious and wholesome at the same time. Walking into a hall full of unfamiliar relatives and that elderly woman asking about your exams, I can totally imagine the confusion. So sweet that they laughed and insisted you eat before leaving and even gave you sweets. You went for one wedding and came back with a completely different memory that you'll remember forever.
