What if I couldn't lie?.

If I couldn't lie, my social life would collapse before breakfast. Mom would ask, "How was your day?", and I'd accidentally explain everything.My friend would ask,"So you like my new haircut?" and I would suddenly become unemployed.

College would be wore, "Did you complete the assignment?. No "Did you understand the lecture?". Absolutely not. "Why are you late?".; Because I ignored my alarm and watched reels.

At first, honesty would feel refreshing. Then people would stop asking me question.

I think I would eventually learn the difference between lying and simply knowing when silence is the kinder answer.
