What if I woke up as a ₹10 coin?
I woke up today as a ₹10 coin, which was surprisingly stressful. One minute I was sitting inside a wallet, and the next I was being thrown onto a shop counter for a packet of biscuits. Nobody even said thank you.
By afternoon, I had travelled through three hands, a bus conductor 's ticket pouch, and someone's pocket. I was dropped twice and nearly lost under a seat.
Eventually, a little child picked me up and proudly gave me to their mother.
She put me safely inside a small savings box.
For the first time all day, I wasn't being spent.
Honestly, luxury.
