Today, I helped someone with a task and expected some acknowledgement afterwards. Nothing happened. They simply continued with their day. At first, I felt slightly disappointed. Then I realized the task had still mattered

Helping does not always come with gratitude, applause, or recognition. Sometimes the result is enough.

That distinction stayed with me.vi want to become comfortable with useful actions that nobody notices. There is something peaceful about knowing I made a situation easier, even when nobody remembers who helped.
