This is painfully accurate! The “I just wanted to taste it” excuse after staring at someone’s plate for ten minutes is SO real. And that last thought is perfect—sometimes it’s not that their food is better, it’s just more tempting because it’s theirs. Food + people + the little act of sharing really does make ordinary meals memorable.
