on "Why you gotta be so intrusive?"

There is nothing quite like that sudden, jarring contrast between a peaceful morning and the abrupt intrusion of work or obligations. You spend the first moments of the day savoring a strong, bitter cup of coffee, feeling the cool breeze and warm sunlight, letting your mind rest face-down away from your phone screen. And then, just like that, someone shatters the quiet sanctuary with a demand to find someone else from the project to help them out. It's so frustrating when the outside world refuses to let you have even a few minutes of uninterrupted peace before dragging you back into its chaos.

Asking for help is one thing but being nosey is not what I am okay with

This is such a relatable reminder that not everyone who stays in touch is genuinely interested in a friendship. Sometimes, setting boundaries is not rude; it is simply choosing your peace over one-sided connections. We can be kind without being available for everyone’s convenience. 👏🏻🤍

Correct. Setting boundaries is never rude. What is fine for one person is a hard limit for another.

This is such a relatable situation. I read somewhere that there are no coworker friends and I feel that it is true. I especially dislike people who approach when things go south. You did the right thing by keeping her away from your life.
