With my comfort people

I noticed how children I became around the people I'm completely comfortable with. Today we were sitting together, supposedly having a serious conversation, but within minutes someone made a stupid joke, another person started limitating our professor and suddenly we were laughing so loudly that everyone nearby stared at us.

When I love is how effortlessly that version of me appears. I don't worry about looking mature saying the perfect thing, or behaving properly. I can be annoying dramatic, silly and completely ridiculous without feeling embarrassed. Maybe comfort isn't always quiet and peaceful. Sometimes it is having people who make you comfortable enough to be completely

This is such a beautiful take on comfort. Sometimes the safest people are the ones who bring out the most childish, unfiltered version of us the one that doesn’t care about being perfect. ❤️

This is actually a really relatable idea 😭 The part about suddenly becoming your childish self around people you’re comfortable with is so true. The serious conversation turning into everyone laughing at the professor made me laugh too because those random moments are usually the ones you remember most. I think being able to act silly without worrying about how you look is probably one of the best signs that you genuinely feel comfortable around someone.
