The rain within me

I often find myself wonderful how far the rain must travel before it finally reaches us. It arrives in countless form- sometimes beneath a sky printed with sunlight and rainbow, sometimes hidden behind dark, silent clouds. At times, it carries fierce wind that shake the world and at other, it leaves behind only the gentle fragrance of rain-soaked earth, filling the air with quiet comfort.
Yet there are moments when the rain feels different. It no longer seems gentle. It arrives with quiet fury, roaring through the heavens, swelling rivers beyond their limits, bending fields beneath it's weight, and carrying away dreams that stood firmly rooted.
Perhaps I am not different from the rain.
There are days when patience lives within me, allowing every thought and every emotions to settle gently, like raindrops finding their way to the earth. But there are also days when my heart gathers stroms of its own. My peteince disappears without warning and anger rises within me like restless waves crashing against an unforgiving shore.
Whenever the clouds grow dark. I feel as though that same darkness has found a home inside me. My thoughts become heavier, my silence louder, and I struggle to recognise the person hidden beneath the Strom.
But the rain has always carried a lesson.
No strom is eternal.
Every cloud, no matter how dark, eventually part to make room for light. Every downpour, no matter how fierce, leaves behind a world that feels cleaner, calmer, and somehow more alive.
Perhaps one day, the rain within me will no longer speak in thunder.
Perhaps it will fall softly........
bringing peace instead of Stroms.
The author compares their inner state to the rain. Do you tend to weather storms internally, or find peace after them?

This is a beautiful reminder that the storms we carry inside are often invisible to everyone else. The metaphor of rain reflecting our inner world is both gentle and powerful. Healing rarely arrives all at once,it comes like the rain itself, one drop at a time, quietly washing away what once felt impossible to carry. Thank you for putting such delicate emotions into words.
very beautifully said ,can actually feel it
Here’s a thoughtful, human comment with more than 25 words: This was beautifully written. I loved the comparison between rain and human emotions—it reminds us that even our darkest moments are temporary. Just as every storm eventually passes, we too can find peace after the chaos within.
