a poem for now

i guess everyone stares at the windows wondering about the strangeness of the
mango tree and hoping to see what the birds will come with like the hazard lights of our life.
i do not complain about many things in life.
but i do complain a lot about the thoughts
that imprison the light of my day.
like seeing how the leaves from the mango tree
fly with a smile, a white flag in their hands, and
still see the darkness within their colorless eyes.
i remember the day I met the lights at the peak of the mango tree and I still tried to pick the dark side of the leaves.
i mean, i stayed imprisoned in my thoughts and I missed the birds, the leaves, and their messages that shouted that life was one thing : now—
i think about the way the sky never forgets to display the voices of the world. clouds. stars—and even the moon always finds a way to appear when life becomes a burden for some, a light for others.
i am not talking about the dance of the rainy thoughts. or the way the shiny leaves come back to life after the storm. the sun.
I am talking about the way everything always finds the right balance.
