A team

It was a usual interhouse football tournament of our school and my house had assembled a team of 7 boys. All of them playing in the tournament for the first time. We were strangers but united by a shared dream. To be champions. Me, Atharv, Debu, Rakesh, Ryan, Jyoti and Ankush. All of us had different abilities. Atharv was the keeper, Debu was our leader and the best dribbler in the school, Jyoti and I were rock solid defenders and Ankush with Rakesh could control the game from midfield while Ryan helped Debu. For a month we had to train together and make strategies from scratch and nit fear the red house which was packed with talented players only. For a month our breaks were all about how we would function together as a team . We finally got a deadline, 13th October. A usual day for most but the biggest day of our lives. I was sick just two days before the tournament praying i recover on time and thankfully I did. And now it was the day we show everyone why we are the best the school has to offer. Seven fearless boys ready to conquer whatever they faced.
