An Ordinary Day

Nothing unusual happened that morning.
The sun came up. People rushed to work and college. Messages arrived. Someone complained about being late. Someone laughed at a stupid joke.
And I went through the day like I always did.
I replied when people spoke to me. I laughed at the right moments. I finished what I had to finish. Nobody had a reason to ask if something was wrong.
But something was.
That day, I had been carrying a feeling I couldn't explain. Not sadness exactly. Not anger either.
Just… heaviness.
The strange kind where you want someone to look at you for a second longer and somehow understand.
Nobody did.
At lunch, someone asked, “Why are you so quiet?”
I smiled and said, “Just tired.”
They accepted the answer.
Later, I almost told someone what was actually going on. I had the words ready in my head.
But the conversation moved on before I found the courage.
So I stayed quiet.
That evening, I came home, put my phone aside, and sat there doing absolutely nothing.
And for the first time that day, there was nobody around to pretend for.
I realised I had spent the entire day waiting for someone to notice.
Someone to look at me and say, “You don't seem like yourself.”
Someone to stay long enough to hear the sentence I couldn't bring myself to say.
But nobody came.
And maybe they weren't supposed to.
Because sometimes the hardest truth isn't that nobody noticed you were struggling.
It's that you had become so good at hiding it that even the people who loved you had no idea they needed to look closer.
So I sat there in the quiet and finally admitted it to myself.
I wasn't okay.
No audience.
No dramatic moment.
No one coming to save the day.
Just me, finally noticing me.
And somehow, after an entire day of feeling invisible…
that was the first moment I truly felt seen.

maybe spending sometime alone and realising the fact your own company is the best for you can be nice
I understand your feelings and I see you. Life is tough and sometimes we need at least one person to see us. Sometimes that does not happen. I believe this is the kind of experience that makes every second more painful. I hope you get noticed and loved. Sending lover
