before the day began

I woke up earlier than usual that morning.
For a few seconds, I just lay there looking at the ceiling. Normally, I would immediately reach for my phone and check messages, notifications, and everything I had missed while sleeping.
But that morning, I didn't.
I opened the window instead.
The air felt cool, and the street outside was surprisingly quiet. A few people were already walking, a shopkeeper was opening his store, and someone nearby was making tea.
Nothing unusual was happening.
Still, everything felt different.I decided to take a short walk before starting my day. I didn't have a particular reason. I just wanted to be outside.
On the way, I saw an old woman watering the plants outside her house. She smiled when I passed.“Good morning,” she said.
“Good morning,” I replied.
It was such a small conversation, but somehow it made me smile.A little further down the road, I stopped at a tea stall and ordered a cup of tea. Usually, I would drink it quickly and leave. This time, I sat there for a while.
I watched people getting ready for their day .Some looked busy. Some looked tired. Some were laughing with friends.
Everyone seemed to have somewhere to go.
I suddenly thought about how often I rushed through my own mornings without actually noticing them.
That day, I went home and started my work a little later than usual.
And strangely, I didn't feel guilty.
I realized that taking a little time for myself hadn't ruined my day.It had actually made me feel more prepared for it.
Nothing major happened that morning.
No exciting news. No unexpected success. No life-changing moment.
Just a quiet walk, a cup of tea, and a simple “good morning.”
But maybe that's the thing about ordinary moments.
We don't always realize their value while they're happening.
Sometimes a good day doesn't begin with something amazing.Sometimes it begins when you finally slow down enough to notice that the day has already started.
When the day starts, do you
