Chapter 11 — When Everything Became a Threat ❤️‍🩹

After he left my home, things didn't become peaceful.
He still didn't have much hope.
He trusted what my brother had promised, but he was afraid that my parents might change their minds during those two years.
One day, he finally told me,
“I can't stay like this.”
He said he would go somewhere for a while and that when it was time for the marriage, he would come back.
Hearing that broke me.
I started crying.
My brother saw me crying and became angry again.
“I already talked to you about this. Why are you crying? What happened?”
Another argument started.
My brother was angry with him too.
“How many times have I explained everything to you? Still you're not listening.”
Everything felt uncertain again.
And then, just before New Year, something happened that made everything even more serious.
My ex sent my brother a screen recording from my Snapchat friend along with a disturbing message about me.
The message was enough to make my family extremely worried about my safety.
My parents didn't know what to do anymore. They were already dealing with everything that had happened, and now they were afraid that the situation could become even worse.
Because of that, they decided to send me to the village.
My relatives already knew about my love story, so my parents told them what had happened.
My mother was still extremely angry.
“Who is he? What will he do to my daughter? I'll see.”
At that time, my mother, my father, and I left for the village.
