Chapter 3 — The Day Everything Changed

June 2025.
One day, everything was normal… and then suddenly, my whole world felt like it had stopped.

He had an accident.
The moment I heard about it, I was extremely tense. My mind was filled with questions—Is he okay? What happened? How serious is it?

I started contacting his sister and his friends, trying to find out what had happened and whether he was safe.
Then I heard the words I was most afraid of.
The doctor said he needed surgery.
My heart sank.
After a few days, he finally texted me himself.
He had undergone surgery around his upper eyebrow and eye area. There was swelling, and the shape around that area had changed. Seeing him like that was painful in a way I can't really explain.
But what hurt even more was what he told me.
He said that if I wanted, I could love someone else… because he wasn't good anymore.
But in my heart, I already knew something.
Even if there was nobody else in my life, I was pretty sure he would be the last person I would love. ❤️
I went to his home just to see him and make sure he was okay.
Slowly, things started becoming normal again. We started talking, laughing, and finding our way back to the relationship we had before.
For a while, I thought maybe the hardest part was finally over.
I didn't know our story still had more tests waiting for us.
