In the rush of life, we often forget the people who quietly make our lives beautiful. We remember birthdays, celebrations, achievements, and important dates, but sometimes we forget the people who were there when nobody else was.

There was a time when a child believed that parents were superheroes. A mother could solve every problem with a hug, and a father could make every fear disappear with a simple sentence: “I am here.” But as children grow older, life becomes busy. College, jobs, friends, responsibilities, and dreams slowly take their place. The same parents who once waited for us to come home now wait silently for a phone call.
Sometimes, they don't ask for much. They don't want expensive gifts or grand celebrations. They simply want to know that we still remember them.

We often say, “I’m busy,” without realizing that time never stops moving. One day, the chair where our mother used to sit may be empty. One day, our father's voice may no longer call us from another room. And suddenly, all those small moments we ignored become the memories we would give anything to experience once again.
The saddest part of life is that we often understand the value of someone only after we lose the chance to tell them.
But this isn't only about parents. It is also about old friends, grandparents, teachers, siblings, neighbors, and even strangers who helped us during difficult moments. Some people enter our lives for years, while others stay only for a few minutes. Yet, their kindness can remain with us forever.

A small act of kindness can become someone's reason to keep going. A simple “Are you okay?” can mean more than we realize. Sometimes, people smile while carrying battles we know nothing about.Message that old friend you haven't spoken to in years. Say “thank you” while there is still time to hear the response. Say “I love you” without waiting for a special occasion.
So, before life becomes another busy day, call someone you love. Sit with your parents. Ask your grandparents about their childhood.
Because life is not measured only by the things we achieve. It is also measured by the hearts we touched, the hands we held, and the people who felt less alone because we were there.
At the end of our journey, we may not remember every achievement or every possession we collected. But we will remember the people who made us feel loved.
So don't wait for tomorrow to appreciate someone who matters today. Sometimes, tomorrow never gets the chance to come.

Before life gets too busy, should you

This is such a heartfelt reminder that we realise someone’s value when we slow down enough to notice them
