I used to think self improvement meant changing everything overnight.
New routine. New habits. New me by Monday.
But that never worked.
Because I would burn out by Wednesday.used to think self improvement meant changing everything overnight.
New routine. New habits. New me by Monday.
But that never worked.
Because I would burn out by Wednesday.
So I’m trying something different now.
I’m starting small.
Today I’m not trying to be the best version of me.
I’m just trying to be 1% better than yesterday.
Maybe that means drinking one glass of water when I wake up.
Maybe it means saying no to one thing that drains me.
Maybe it means 5 minutes of reading instead of scrolling.
It’s not big. It’s not impressive.
But it’s honest.
Self improvement isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up even when motivation is low.
It’s about choosing me, in small ways, every single day.
Some days I’ll fall back. Some days I’ll forget.
That’s okay. The goal isn’t to never mess up.
The goal is to come back. Again and again.
So this is chapter one.
Not of a perfect life.
But of a real one.
And it starts with one small step.
When it comes to self-improvement, are you a 'go big or go home' person, or do you prefer small, consistent steps?
Your vote is final.
