Walk into almost any clothing store today and you will find tacks filled with lastest trends at unbelievably low prices. If you don't like something then another collection will just arraive in few weeks. Fashion no longer feels seasons...it follows social media.
This is a world of fast fashion. It is the rapid production of inexpensive clothing designed to keep up with constantly changing trends. It has made stylish clothes more affordable than ever before allowing people to experiment with different looks without spending a fortune. But behind every cheaoy T shirt and trendy jacket lies a hidden cost that many of us never see.
The rise of social media has changed the way we consume fashion. Influencers showcase nee outfits almost everyday and clothing hauls attracts millions of views and trends seem to disappear as quickly as they appear. Wearing the same outfit multiple times is sometimes treated as boring even though there is nothing wrong with it. The pressure to always look new gas transformed clothing form of entertainment.
This constant cycle field consumerism. The belief that buying more will make us look happier or successful. A new pair of shoes or another hoodie or the latest handbag may provide a brief feeling of excitement but that satisfaction often faded quickly. Before ling another trend appears and the cycle begins again.
