The First Step
I used to think too much about someone. Some people came in your life as a friend then suddenly they disappear from your life. They teaches us that expectations kills you internally. I'm talking about my close friend who came in my life as a good and respectful partner. Suddenly he suffers from heart break from his girl then he made distance from me just because I'm girl. He thinks that every girls are same and without saying anything he left me. At first i made him to understand that not everyone is same but then he didn't understand so I also make distance from him. He is such a respectful person but suddenly he started abusing me.. and said very harsh words.
At first i want to talk to him but then i stop myself to do this. Whenever my mind reminds me about him i made Boundaries to not to do anything.
I started ignoring him and currently I'm working on my boundaries and I'm more happy.
Now i never feel to talk to him.. and never wants to meet him again.. and i know he also wants this..
But in this story.. what is my fault if your girl broken with you then why you talking rubbish to me..
I'm really thankful to my boundaries idea which make me to came out from my own think..
What is something you got wrong recently — and what did it quietly teach you?
When someone you cared about hurts you badly, do you
Your vote is final.

Sometimes, I believe, there is no self criticising lesson in things. It is realising that someone’s pain or suffering doesn’t give them the licence to hurt you.
Setting boundaries and choosing your self respect is important no matter how much you like being with that person and the memories you have with them
This feels like a really honest reflection on learning when to let go. Sometimes setting boundaries isn’t about hating someone or forgetting what they meant to you,it’s about choosing your own peace after realizing that their actions no longer deserve access to you. I especially liked the ending because it shows that healing can be as simple as slowly choosing yourself, again and again. 🤍
