Some girls grow up knowing exactly what they want.
And then there are girls like Mira.
Girls who have ten different dreams before breakfast.
Girls who change their minds, not because they are confused, but because they are curious about how many lives they could possibly live.
Mira was one of them.
She lived in a small place where everyone seemed to know everyone. Her world was simple—home, family, college, a few close people, and a phone that held more dreams than she could explain.
She had once imagined herself wearing a white coat.
Then life changed.
And somehow, she found herself walking into an engineering college with a bag on her shoulder and a thousand questions in her mind.
"Did I choose the right path?"
She never said it aloud.
But she asked herself almost every night.
On the first morning of college, she stood in front of the mirror longer than usual.
Not because she was worried about how she looked.
She was wondering who she was going to become.
"Computer Science," she whispered to herself.
The words sounded strange.
But somewhere inside her, a tiny voice said,
"Maybe this is where your story actually begins."
She picked up her bag and walked out.
Her mother looked at her and smiled.
"All the best."
Mira smiled back.
She wanted to say so many things.
I'm scared.
What if I fail?
What if everyone is better than me?
What if I can't do this?
Instead, she simply said,
"Thank you."
Because sometimes, we hide our biggest fears behind the smallest words.
College wasn't exactly how she had imagined it.
There were unfamiliar faces everywhere.
People who already knew programming.
People who spoke English so confidently.
People who seemed to know exactly what they were doing.
And then there was Mira.
She knew almost nothing.
But she had something else.
She wanted to learn.
That evening, she came home and opened her phone.
She searched:
"How to become a software engineer."
Then:
"How to learn coding from zero."
Then:
"Can an ordinary girl get a job in a big company?"
She watched one video.
Then another.
Then another.
By midnight, she had created an entire future in her head.
She would become a software engineer.
Maybe an AI engineer.
She would get a good job.
She would become independent.
And one day, she would hold her first salary in her hands.
But she didn't dream about buying expensive things first.
She imagined walking toward her father.
Putting the money in his hands.
And saying,
"This is for you."
She smiled at the thought.
Then her smile slowly disappeared.
Because dreams were beautiful.
But dreams were also frightening when you didn't know how to reach them.
Mira looked at the small screen in her hand.
No laptop.
No expensive courses.
No perfect English.
No special connections.
Just a girl, a phone, and a stubborn little dream.
She whispered,
"I'll figure it out."
She didn't know it yet…
but that sentence was going to change her life.
Because sometimes, a person doesn't need to know how they will achieve their dream.
They only need to decide that they won't give up.
And Mira had just made that decision.
What she didn't know was that college was about to give her something she hadn't planned for at all.
A friendship.
A heartbreak.
A secret.
And someone who would make her question everything she thought she knew about love.
But for now…
she was just a girl with too many dreams.
And a long way to go.

When facing a future full of unknowns, do you
