The plan

Over the years wherever I had been, I heard a lot of stories about hauntings. Most had something in common. Yet I did come across some unique experiences from the people I knew. This experience was narrated by my friend Nisha. Her experience was nothing that I had heard before but it was extremely scary and chilling.

Nisha was from a metro city. While pursuing her education she found the university that would have been appropriate for her specialized studies. However this university was in a remote village - miles away from her home. Nisha had decided to relocate to this village and stay at a students' hostel.

At the college and hostel Nisha had found like minded students. Students who were intelligent, serious about their career, and driven for success. Nisha had been enjoying her college life. Each day she was learning new skills. She had also made amazing friend circle at her hostel. The only drawback was that the college had been miles away from her home hence she would not be able to go home every weekend. She would only be able to go home whenever there would have been week long vacations.

Whenever there would be weekends or short holidays Nisha would stay at the hostel. Along with her there would be many students who would camp out at the hostel instead of a flying visit to their homes. Whenever there would be a holiday the students at the hostel would perform some activities or go on adventures. This would bring the students closer to each other and they were able to spend their time in a productive manner.

Once there was an unexpected holiday. It was short enough not to allow Nisha to visit her home. Along with Nisha a lot of students decided to stay back because the commute would have been more tiresome. Since there were no projects or exams the students decided to make the most of this holiday. Nisha and her friends had decided to go on a short trip to one of the rivers within the village. They had carefully planned out the itinerary. They had decided when they were going to leave; which mode of transport is to be taken; what time would they reach the spot; what activities they planned to do - they have mapped out the entire plan for the day.

Nisha and her friends were really excited for this short trip. They expected that the trip would provide them the well deserved getaway from the college assignments and projects. They wanted an opportunity to unwind and relax. They thought that they would come back from the trip relaxed and refreshed. They had also hoped that the naturally scenic backdrop would provide them some amazing snaps that they could use to elevate there social media profiles. They had plethora of expectations from this trip. They did not know that the trip was going to be unique and exciting but not in the way they would have imagined.

The river had been carrying a few mysteries. Nisha and her friends were about to go very close to them. However they were not yet aware what secrets the scenic location had been keeping safe.
