the shop in front of my house

There was a little shop just in front of my house, it was not fancy , nor it was meant any special place for anyone else, but fir me it was joyful corner of my childhood.
The shopkeeper, we used to call her, "taai ji", because she was like a Guardian and I was connected with her . Every afternoon me, my brother and our neighbourhood friends used to play 'Ludo and carrom' in her shop we really used to enjoy, those were the best happy summer
And then there was the Coca-Cola -
Back then, it came in those glass bottle that somehow made feel everything special , I would hold the cold bottle , out a straw in it and the first sip of coke ,it felt so satisfying , then I never realised that how quickly those evenings, those summer, those moments would become memory.
I didn't know that one day I will miss that little shop, playing and spending time with taai ji and with my friends, those glass bottles, orange candy and the child I was .
Sometimes I also live those days in my imagination and feel the same I used to experience then

“I really enjoyed reading this. It beautifully captures how childhood memories can stay with us even when the places around us change.”
