I often took hearing for granted. Once I got an ear infection leading my ear clogged for 15 days. I was barely hearing from the clogged ear. Thise were the most difficult 15 days for navigation. I was unable to understand simple tasks like crossing the road

I loved the opening. Closing my eyes while reading actually made me notice sounds around me that I'd been ignoring. It's amazing how something we take for granted is quietly helping us understand the world every single second.
