I have similar experience. Anorexia and bullemia were projected as beauty standards. Women of our generation definitely had body image issues and eating disorders because of these. But at least now we know the truth and accepting ourselves.

I have noticed it too...the Industry and the society are having specific norms and ridiculous Standards that make no sense and the one who have to pay he proce for the stupidity is women too
