It’s weird that we only saw two major houses story revolving around Hogwarts and the whole movies
Any Harry Potter fan will definitely know and agree on this one ,That entire franchise was revolving around gryffindor and Slytherin .
What about the other two houses ? HUFFELPUFF AND RAVENCLAW
The only time the movie made huffelpuff intresting was in GOBLET OF FIRE
And that too because of Cedric diggory .
I mean yes he was the main character in also the book goblet of fire ,so they had no choice apart from making the character appear in screen. Apart from this I don’t remember anyone or the movie focusing on the house huffelpuff .They were even never showed playing quidditch or having focused on any classes like potions or defence against the dark arts .Also I am pretty sure that if I were to ask anyone to name 8 huffelpuff characters ,they won’t be able to say it.
I bet some smartass preson will get up and say Helga huffelpuff 😂.Not unless the movie Fantastic beasts came out ,only by then people began to realise they identify as huffelpuff, including the veteran actor ,wrestler and our favourite person ,Dwayne ‘ the rock ‘ Johnson .
He even admitted to being a huffelpuff.That movie showed people what a true huffelpuff looked like.Not every huffelpuff is a forgotten character .They are literally the calmest,kindest and most loving people in the whole entire wizardinf world .Just like how nwet scamander showed us that they are friendly ,caring and a lot close with animals.nwet also showed us that ,just because they are calm and silent ,does not mean that they are weak .their most powerful plus point is in herbs and their study .Tgey are part of nature itself.Everyone at Hogwarts needs a huffelpuff friend .The series fantastic beasts shows us how it was to be a huffelpuff .His brother theasus scammander was also a huffelpuff ,also a very smart man who ends up working at the minestry of magic department.Ravenclaw has also been shown as Unused potential In the second movie .Also by making fun of the character Professor Lockhart .The character Luna lovegood and cho Chang were one of the few characters who were shown in the movie franchise .both smart ,intelligent and very beautiful.Luna lovegood was smart that she was enveyed by everyone at Hogwarts and people thought of her as weird or freak .cho Chang was a very amazing and talented quidtich player who also represented the house of ravenclaw .The irony?
I don’t think we ever saw or read in the books that huffelpuff or ravenclaw wan the house cup .It was always a rivalry between gryffindor or Slytherin .Dont get me wrong I loved gryffindor and Slytherin portrayal in the movie ,heck I am Slytherin myself ,but the misrepresentation in the movies of raven and huff makes no sense and is extremely underrated.The wife of Remus Lupin was also a huffelpuff ,”DONT CALL ME NYMPFHDORA” and her son teddy Lupin ,who is also a god son of Harry Potter,is also a huffelpuff .I always thought that he will also become a werewolf life his father but he ended up being a anamgus like his mother .
