This description of September feels so different from the usual “new month, new beginnings” kind of posts. I really liked the way you made it feel almost like a person quietly entering your life rather than just another month on the calendar. The changing weather, cooler nights and that in-between feeling really do make September feel like a transition. There’s something comforting about a month that doesn’t arrive loudly, but slowly changes the atmosphere around you. The “vampire’s existence” line also made the whole thing feel slightly mysterious and unusual, which fits September surprisingly well.
