When a simple appointment made me feel older

Today, I scheduled an appointment entirely by myself and wrote down the time, location, and details. Nothing dramatic happened. Yet after confirming it, I left strangely grown up, I remembered when adults organized everything for me. Now I was responsible for remembering where I needed to be.
