Lately I’ve been feeling like my days are always full of something. Work, family, things around the house… there’s always another thing to do.
Sometimes I get to the end of the day and realise I haven’t really stopped for myself. I keep telling myself I’ll slow down, but somehow the next day starts and I’m doing the same thing again.
Today, someone complimented me on something I had worked hard on,. My first reaction was to laugh and say it was nothing special. Later , I wondered why accepting a complimentary feels so uncomfortable.perhaps I have become better at noticing my mistakes than recognizing the things I actually do well.
I replayed those few words in my mind and realized they made me feel encouraged. Maybe there is nothing wrong with accepting kindness without immediately minimizing it. Tonight, I allowed myself to believe the compliment. It felt unfamiliar, but also comforting . I think I should learn to acknowledge my efforts without feeling guilty.
There’s one conversation I still replay in my head sometimes.
Not because it was the longest conversation I’ve ever had, or because every word was important. Maybe it’s because of what happened after it. Sometimes I randomly remember that moment and think, “What if I had just stayed quiet?” Or, “What if I had said something different?”
I remember exactly how the conversation went. The words, the tone, even the little pauses between replies. At that time, I didn’t think much of it. I was just reacting to what I was feeling in that moment. I said things I probably shouldn’t have said, and I didn’t say the things I actually wanted to say.
And that’s the part I regret the most.
Sometimes I wish I could go back to that exact moment, knowing everything I know now. I wish I could stop myself befo…
Today, I missed my usual bus and had to wait for the next one. At first, I was irritated because every minute felt wasted. Then I noticed people around me: a student revising notes, an old man watching traffic, and a child langhing at pigeons. The delay suddenly felt different.
I realized I spend so much time trying to reach the next thing that I forget to notice where I already am. Nothing important happened during those twenty minutes, yet they felt peaceful. Maybe not every minute needs to be productive. Some minutes can simply exist, quietly passing, without demanding anything from me.
There is a particular kind of loneliness that doesn’t look like loneliness. It looks like sitting by the window with a cup of tea that has gone cold. It looks like scrolling through your phone without really reading anything. It looks like laughing when someonetells a joke, answering messages, finishing your work, and going through an entire day without anyone realizing that you have barely spoken from the heart.
I think that is the strangest thing about solitude.Sometimes you choose it. Sometimes it simply arrives.
There are evenings when I don’t want company. I don’t want conversations, explanations, or the pressure to appear cheerful. I just want to sit somewhere quiet and listen to the sounds around me—the ceiling fan, distant traffic, a dog barking somewhere down the street, perhaps th…
I used to think being misunderstood was something I had to fix immediately.
If someone got the wrong idea about me, I would explain myself again and again. I would go back to the conversation, think about what I should have said differently, and sometimes even try to prove that I wasn’t what they thought I was.
It was exhausting.
Over time, I started realizing that no matter how carefully I explain myself, I can’t completely control how another person understands me. People see things through their own experiences, expectations, and assumptions. Sometimes they hear what I say but understand something completely different.
And sometimes, there is simply no explanation that will change their mind.
That was difficult for me to accept.
I used to take being misunderstood personally. If someone …
While clearing and old notebook today. I found a page filled with my childhood handwriting. The letters were uneven, the spelling was sometimes wrong and the sentences were Wounderfully simple. I stared at it longer than expected, remembering how seriously I once beloved every little dream I wrote down.
For a moment, I felt sad that I had become more careful and practical . Then I smiled because that younger version of me had not disappeared completely. Maybe growing up should not mean abandoning old dreams. Perhaps I can carry that innocent confidence forward while learning to understand life more deeply.
That one night at 2 AM when I saw him with another girl and suddenly started feeling insecure about myself is actually insane.
It was literally just a picture. Nothing more. But somehow, my brain decided to turn that one picture into a whole list of questions I didn’t even want to ask myself.
I started comparing myself to her without even realizing it. The way she looked, the way she dressed, how comfortable she seemed, how naturally they looked together.
And suddenly I was wondering, Was she prettier than me? Was she more interesting? Was I not enough?
The funny thing is, I knew I was overthinking.
I knew one picture couldn’t possibly tell me how someone felt or what was actually going on. But at 2 AM, logic doesn’t really stand a chance against insecurity.
I kept looking at it even thoug…
Today, I decided to cook something simple for my family.i was nervous because I usually depend on someone else in the kitchen. The dish was not perfect, and I made a few mistakes, but everyone Still ate it and smiled. Their reaction made me strangely happier than I expected.
I realized food becomes more meaningful when it carries effort
Nobody cared that the taste was slightly different or that the presentation looked ordinary. They noticed that I had tried, Tonight, I understood that love is sometimes expressed through small, imperfect actions. Maybe I should create more moments like this for them.
Today I opened my phone and saw several unread messages waiting for replies.. I wanted to answer every one, but somehow each message felt like another responsibility. I kept thinking," I'll reply later".;until hours passed, it surprised me how something so simple could create such unnecessary pressure and guilt inside me.
Later, I realized I am not the only one who feels this way. People online often describe delaying replies because they care too much about giving the perfect response. Maybe communication does not always need perfect timing or perfect wonds. Tonight, I replied honestly simply without overthinking. Somehow that felt freeing.
Some days, nothing particularly bad happens, yet everything feels a little heavier than usual. You wake up, follow your normal routine, talk to people, finish your work, maybe even laugh at a few things—but somewhere inside, you still feel tired.
The strange part is that you can’t always point to one specific reason. There’s no big problem to explain, no particular incident that caused it. Maybe it’s just several small things that have quietly piled up over time.
I’ve started realizing that not every difficult day needs an explanation. Sometimes the mind simply gets tired from carrying things we don’t consciously notice. Expectations, unfinished thoughts, little disappointments, conversations we keep replaying, or even the pressure to constantly be okay. On those days, I’m learning not to …
Que sera sera means- It is what it is.
Many times in our lives we feel like we haven't done enough, or we have not achieved anything.
Sometimes when something unexpected or untowards happens to us, we have a tough time accepting it.
This is just human nature, we need time to adjust our minds to the changes.
I, personally sometimes get very upset or anxious about new changes in my life.
Then I turn towards my parents, siblings or friends for help. They encourage me that nothing is as hard as it seems.
Then I think- THIS TOO SHALL PASS.
Que sera sera teaches us that we should just take it as it is.
Sometimes there is no point in overthinking or overanalyzing. Sometimes we should just accept what comes out way and then think about the next step.
This way, we will become more accepting of thi…
I used to think that people left only after a big fight.
I thought there had to be a reason, an argument, or something serious that ended a relationship. But life taught me thatsometimes people simply grow apart.
There was someone I used to talk to every single day. We knew each other's little habits, favorite songs, random thoughtsand even the boring details of our day. Talking to them never felt like an effort.
Then things slowly changed.
The replies became shorter. Conversations that once lasted for hours started ending in a few minutes. Sometimes I would wait for a message and pretend that I wasn't waiting.
I noticed everything, but I didn't say much.
I kept thinking things would become normalagain.
One evening, I opened our old conversation and read some of the messages. It felt stran…
I think growing up is mostly about becoming someone you never consciously decided to be.
One day, you realize you don't explain yourself as much anymore. You stop replying immediately. You learn that not every silence needs to be filled, and not every person needs to understand you.
I used to think becoming mature meant having everything figured out. Now I think it simply means being okay with not knowing.
There are still days when I overthink tiny conversations, replay old memories, and wonder if I'm doing enough with my life. But I'm learning not to treat every uncertain feeling like a problem that needs fixing.
Maybe I'm not supposed to have a perfect version of myself waiting at the finish line.
Maybe I'm just supposed to keep becoming.
A little softer.
A little braver.
A little more …
There are some things in life that we never really talk about.
Not because they don't matter, but because we don't know how to explain them A few months ago, I started noticing something about myself. I was becoming quieter. Not in a dramatic way. I still talked to people, replied to messages, laughedstupid jokes and went on with my normal routine. But somewhere inside, I felt different.
I had started keeping things to myself. If something hurt me, I would say, “It's okay.”
If I was tired, I would say, “I'm fine.”
If someone asked me what was wrong, I would usually change the topic. At first, I thought it was just a phase. Maybe everyone feels like this sometimes. But slowly, I realized that I had become very good at hiding things. One evening, I was sitting alone with my phone in my hand. I …
Today, I found an old photograph Buried in my phone gallery . It showed a group of friends laughing together, and for moment, I wondered whether we would still remember this exact day years later. It felt strange realizing that ordinary moments can become precious only after they have quietly disappeared from our lives.
I suddenly wanted to stop rushing through everything. Maybe one day, I will miss these messy college days, random conversations, shared jokes, and even stressful mornings, I cannot preserve every moment, but I can be present for them . Tonight, I saved the photograph and smiled, grateful that this moment happened at all.
Tonight I realized that some opportunities disappear simply because I keep waiting for the perfect moment. A small college event invited me. But I hesitated, wondering whether I was good enough. By evening the chance had passed leaving me with uncomfortable question. What if I had simply tried anyway .
I've seen people online talk about regretting chances they avoided because of fear or shyness, and it felt painfully familiar. I cannot know whether that opportunity would have changed anything., butvi know avoiding it changed how I felt. Maybe courage is not feeling ready: it is choosing to act.
Today, I finished a small task that I had been avoiding for days. It was nothing impressive and nobody else would probably notice. Still I felt strongly proud. I realized how often I wait for big achievement before allowing myself to feel happy, forgetting that progress is usually made through tiny steps.
I have seen people online talk about celebrating small wins, and their experiences felt surprisingly familiar. Tonight instead of focusing on everything unfinished, I wrote down three things I managed to complete. They were simple, but they reminded me that I am moving forward. Maybe I shall learn to appreciate the journey, not just the destination.
Today, I deliberately spent an evening alone without calling anyone or checking messages constantly. At first the silence felt strange because I am so used to having something playing in the background. Slowly though, I became comfortable with my own thoughts. For once , I did not feel lonely I felt peaceful.
People online often describe needing time away from constant messages and social expectations, especially when life becomes overwhelming. That made my evening feel less unusual. I realized being alone does not always mean being disconnected. Sometimes, it is simply giving myself enough quiet to hear what I actually feel. Tonight silence felt like company.
Tonight I caught myself woundering whether I am doing enough with my life.Around me, everyone seems to have plans, achivements, internships, relationships, or clear goals. I know people online often admit feeling behind despite having their own progress, and strangely knowing that make my uncertainly feel less lonely.
Maybe I have been expecting myself to have answers that take years to discover. Life is not an exam where everyone receives the same question at the same time. I may still be confused, learning and changing direction. Tonight, I decided they not having everything figured out does not mean I am failing.
Today I worked through a familiar college corridor and suddenly noticed how different everything felt.bThe same walls, classrooms, and benches were there , but some people had graduated, friendships had changed, and old routines had disappeared. I stood there quietly, realizing that places remain whilebthe memories connected to them slowly change.
I have read people online describe this strange feeling of returning somewhere familiar and realizing that it no longer feels exactly like home . Maybe growing up is partly learning to accept these quiet changes. Tonight ,I felt grateful fg or those old moments instead of wishing they return. Some chapters end silently, but they still matter.
Today, I came home carrying the usual weight of assignment, deadlines, and thoughts that refused to stay quiet. I put on my favourite song and started dancing alone in my room.vat first , it felt silly, but slowly I stopped thinking I just moved , created, and let the music take over.
For those few minutes, I forget everything waiting outside my room. I have seen people online describe dancing as their escape from stress, and today I understood exactly what they meant. Dancing did not solve my problems, but it made them feel lighter. Maybe sometimes, I simply need to dance.
Tere liye bss tere liye hum Badal rhe hai .
Tere liye mandir me jau m .
How we change ourselves for them who loves us , we loves them.
I think it was a beautiful feelings in our life to changing for them .
But it's hurt when it was one sided.
But it's a pleasure when it's love by both side.
We changes our habits, our nature , our routine, everything for them .
And lost in their love.
Also when they also change them for us , then it becomes more beautiful.
"LOVE THEM LIKE YOU NEVER DO "
I think loving someone is so beautiful thing in this world, no matter that they love you or not .
I never thought I would get that call so early in…
I never thought I would get that call so early in the morning. My phone was on silent. I had slept at 2 AM because I was making those tournament notices. Ma'am had said "send it tonight only, don't wait till morning." So I stayed awake and completed it.
At 6:15 AM, I woke up and saw 3 missed calls from mummy. My heart just stopped for a second. I called back immediately. She picked up and said in a very low, shaking voice, "Nanu nahi rahe."I said "Kya?" I heard it, but I didn't want to believe it. She repeated it again, and then she started crying. I was sitting on the edge of my bed. My feet were on the cold floor. I didn't cry at that moment. I don't know why. I just sat there blank.
My first thought was very stupid. I thought "Now I have to inform Ma'am that I won't come to school today…
The Day I Was Free But Pretended I Was Busy
This story is a little embarrassing for me, but it's true.
Ma'am had given me some work. It was making that list of students for the tournament. I had already done half of it, but I was stuck on the last part because she hadn't cleared which class students to take. I messaged her at 4 PM—"Ma'am, please confirm." She didn't reply.
At 6 PM, I called. She said, "I am in a meeting, call tomorrow during working hours." I said okay.
The next day I called at 11 AM. She didn't pick up. I called again at 12 PM. No answer. I was getting irritated. I thought, if she can ignore my call, why should I keep waiting?
So I told my roommate, "Aaj ke baad main call hi nahi karungi. She can do her work herself." But I also knew, if I don't do the work, she will cut …
I recently joined a corporate company as a an SME.
I completed my masters recently this year and was decided on taking a break.
In the past fuve years I have, completed my high school, joined bachelor’s, completed bachelor’s, joined master’s, and completed master’s.
I had no break.
No gap year.
No respite.
On top of that, My degree was extremely exhausting.
And since I did master’s in a city that is filled with my relatives, I had so much more to stress over.
Each time I went out.
Each time I had a family function to attend.
Family politics exhausted me completely.
Thank Gid for my parents who were supportive.
But now, I wanted to rest for a while.
My sister suggested I take a gap year, because I desperately needed one.
But guven the person I am,
I cant sit idly.
So i joined this compan…
Given that this is my first post I'm gonna just talk about something simple. All my life I've been known as an underdog and maybe this is my time to actually become an amazing writer. Though I live off of adrenaline, I tend to always resort back to writing an art. It's become something meaningful to me. Becoming a writer, director/producer, artist has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I know I've been creative writing for about six years now and writing blog-like papers for 12 years. (I started at 7 with writing a whole book on sharks!). Maybe this is my time. Also the photo is just my outside view of the sky, I didn't have a photo to go along with this post.
Thank you for reading.
Today, I faced a problem I could not solve alone. My first reaction was to keep trying quietly, because asking for help felt like admitting that I was not capable enough. I spent an hour struggling with something that could have been explained to me in minutes by someone experienced.
Eventually I swallowed my pride and asked a classmate for help, I expected them to judge me, but they simply smiled and explained it patiently. There was no embarrassment, no criticism, and no dramatic moments. Just a simple conversation that reminded me how unnecessarily hard I had made everything Today.
What stayed with me was not the solution, but how relieved I felt afterward, I realized that independence does not mean knowing everything by yourself. Sometimes, being strong means recognizing when you are s…
Today, I tried returning to something I once enjoyed, but strangely, it did not feel the same anymore. I felt guilty, wondering whether I had lost a part of myself.Maybe growing up quietly changes the things that once made us happy. Not everything we love is meant to stay forever.
I read people sharing similar experiences online, realizing that interests can naturally change with time. Some even said old hobbies can return unexpectedly years later. That thought comforted me.perhaps I have not lost myself maybe I am simply becoming new. Tonight, I decided on exploring without expecting myself to live everything again.
Today I looked at my unfinished tasks and felt guilty for everything. I had not achieved. Then I remembered how easily I compare, my ordinary days with other people's best moments online. Everyone seems ahead while I quietly struggle. Maybe I have been measuring my life using someone else's timeline.
I want to change that instead of asking why I am not there yet, I want to notice how far I have come. A small achievement matters, even when nobody sees it. Tonight, I closed my phone, took a deep breath, and felt proud of simply continuing . That is progress.
