Today, I entered my classroom after everyone had gone home. The same desks , board, and windows suddenly looked completely different without voices filling the space. I stood there for a moment and remembered all the conversations, jokes, arguments, and stressful mornings that had happened inside that room.silence made everything feel temporary.
I realized places become alive because of the people inside them. One day,we will leave this classroom for the last time without knowing exactly when that final moment happens. May be that is why ordinary days deserve attention.bwe often recognize ending only after they have already become memories.
I think sometimes I sleep because I’m tired.
And sometimes I sleep because I don’t want to be awake.
There’s a difference.
There are nights when I’m not even physically tired, but I still want to close my eyes and disappear for a few hours. Not because I love sleeping that much, but because being awake means thinking about everything I’ve been trying not to think about.
When I’m awake, there are things waiting for me.
Messages I don’t know how to reply to.
Things I need to figure out.
Conversations I keep replaying.
Decisions I keep postponing.
Things I wish had gone differently.
And sometimes, honestly, I just don’t want to deal with any of it.
So I sleep.
I put my phone away, turn off the lights, get comfortable, and hope my brain will finally stop for a while.
Sleep becomes this little …
The Regret of loving someone who doesn't care for you .....
The Regret of marrying someone who doesn't understand you..
The Regret of being with someone who doesn't support or encourage you.....
The Regret of Not living the life you dreamt .....
This regret makes me weak
It makes me struggle to breath....this regret feels like having a rock inside your heart a lumb in your throat..... everything just feels heavy
In today's age proof of your behaviour what you said ended has become essential to Survival
I have seen this many a time specifically in India where people still have the bonds they still have the trust between people the still believe
But I have seen this multiple Times specifically as a visually impaired and even with normal people who can see clearly
People clash and someone's word is stronger than you because they have more reputation then you and you cannot do anything
Aur sometimes they are higher and you in the hierarchy and you can still not do anything
Whatever the reason the main thing I have noticed is the lack of proof
The lack of a live video recording of you saying something and other responding
Or any other proof that can prove without the shadow of Dawood what you s…
It is 11:30 p.m. Everyone at my home is sleeping ,but I am still awake stearing at my laptop screen. I just finished writing my third article for today as an intern. Sometimes I wonder ,if I am doing enough. I work for hours, i write, I research ,still I am unpaid.
I love writing more than anything ,it make me feel alive. When I write,my over thinking stops.Today,I felt a little low because I saw others getting paid for the same work and I do for free but then and remember why I started because I love telling stories that feeling still there.
Maybe one day my words will have more value. For now I am just a girl with a laptop a cold coffee and a lot of stories inside her head that want to come out. Does anyone else feel like this when they are working late at night?
Sometimes a sugar craving makes me feel like im going crazy. And it's not like a chocolate or cake can solve it. My sugar cravings can be so particular.
Many times I crave juice. Like a cold cold packaged fruit juice. It's either Minute Maid or Real juice. And if I don't get it I feel so restless.
But sometimes I eat a piece of cake and it's enough. If a friend is eating something sweet, I just take a bite and that leaves me not only energised but also satisfied.
Sometimes spicy tastes sweet. Like peri peri fries or fried chicken. I can taste the spice but it's also sweet and perfect for my craving. I'm not very keen on spice, but if it's the type that doesn't make me sweat and gulp water, it's good enough for me.
Whenever we go to hotels or restaurants and they give small sugar sac…
Yesterday, I decided to sleep early.
At 10:30 p.m., I proudly put my phone away, closed my eyes, and told myself, “Tomorrow, we’re becoming productive.”
At 10:31, my brain said,
“Remember that embarrassing thing you said in 2017?”
Excuse me?
I ignored it.
Then it reminded me of another embarrassing thing.
Then another.
By 11:15, I was mentally reviewing conversations with people I haven't spoken to in years.
At 12:02, I suddenly remembered that I forgot to reply to someone three days ago.
At 12:17, I started planning my entire future.
At 1:03, I was wondering whether penguins have knees.
At 1:26, I finally fell asleep.
My alarm rang at 7.
I opened one eye, looked at the ceiling, and made the most important decision of the day:
“Tomorrow. Definitely tomorrow.”
And honestly, I think tomorrow…
We didn't notice it at first.
Our conversations slowly became shorter. The plans we used to make every weekend started happening once in a while.Sometimes one of us was busy with studies, another had work, and someone else was dealing with things they never talked about.
Nobody had a fight.
Nobody said, “Let's stop being friends.”
Life just became busy.
I remember looking at our old group photos one evening. We were sitting together, laughing about things that don't even seem funny anymore. Back then, we thought we would always be like that.
But growing up changes people.
Not always in a bad way.
We started wanting different things. One wanted to move to another city. Another wanted to focus completely on a career. Someone was preparing for exams, while someone else was simply trying to fig…
Today, I noticed a small green plant growing beside a wall near my college. It was surrounded by dust concrete, and people rushing past, yet somehow it had found enough space to survive. I stopped for a moment and looked at it.bits quiet persistence felt strangely personal to me.
I have been thinking lately about how much pressure I put on myself to grow quickly. I want better skills, better opportunities, better results, and a clearer future. Seeing that little plant reminded me that growth does not always look impressive. Sometimes it is simply continuing even when nobody notices.
People online often talk about feeling behind when they compare their progress with others. Some people describe watching others achieve things while wondering why their own lives seem slower. Reading those exp…
“Growing up, I heard comments about my skin colour that stayed with me for years.
Until around 10th grade, those words affected my confidence. But slowly, I started changing the way saw myself.
I realized I don't need lighter skin to be beautiful.
I’m brown-skinned, and I’m beautiful exactly as I am. 🤎
Today, I’m confident in myself, and I don’t feel the need to change my skin colour to fit anyone’s idea of beauty.
Maybe the little girl who once felt insecure just needed to grow up and realize how beautiful she already was. 🫶”
Today, I found an old voice recording on my phone while clearing files. It was just my voice from months ago, talking excitedly about a small plan I had almost forgotten. Hearing myself sounded strangely unfamiliar. I realized how quickly our worries change, even when they once felt like everything.
That recording reminded me of the person. I was during that moment.bi sounded hopeful, energetic, and completely convinced that everything would work out. Life has not followed that plan exactly, but listening to myself made me feel proud. Maybe I have changed more than I noticed during ordinary days.
I started wondering how many versions of myself I have left behind. There was the child who believed every dream was possible, the student who feared every exam, and the person who kept changing p…
I still remember that Tuesday. It was raining in Shimla since morning. Very cold rain. I had to go to school for tournament duty, even though teaching was suspended. I didn't want to go. I was already tired for one week continuously.
I reached school at 7:10 AM. My shoes were fully wet. My socks were wet. I was shivering. There was no staffroom heater on. Principal Ma'am came and said, "Why are you late? All students are already in ground."
I said sorry and went to the ground. My duty was to manage Class 6 and 7 students. They were shouting, running, not listening. One boy pushed another boy and he fell in the mud. His white uniform became brown. His mother came shouting at me, "Aap dekh kya rahi ho? Aap teacher ho na?"
I said, "Sorry, I will clean it." I took him to washroom, cleaned his …
I have never told this story to anyone properly, because it feels embarrassing to say that you worked for one month and got no money. It was tournament time, and I was not just teaching, I was managing everything from 7 AM to 5 PM for 22 days continuously—making and printing lists, calling parents, handlingfighting kids, bringing water bottles, and fixing broken microphones. Ma'am had promised on the first day that payment would be made on the 15th, so I was relaxed, but when I messaged her that morning, she replied late at night saying it would happen next week. The following Wednesday, she told me to check with the accounts department, who in turn told me only Ma'am would know. I had exactly 340 rupees left in my PhonePe, my room rent in Shimla was 3,500 rupees, and my landlord was aski…
Today, I took a wrong turn on a route I thought I knew perfectly. Instead of immediately checking my phone. I walked for a few minutes and noticed streets I had never really looked at before.i felt slightly uncomfortable butvalso curious. Getting lost showed me something familiar from a different direction.
It made me think about how often I fear uncertainty simply because I cannot predict it. The wrong turn did not ruin my day.vitvgavevmeva new view. Maybe life works similarly. Not every unexpected direction is a mistake. Sometimes, being unsure is how we discover places we never planned to see.
Today, I noticed a missed call from home while I was busy with something else. I planned to call back later, but somehow hours passed. When I finally called, nothing important had happened. We simply talked about ordinary things. Still hearing their voices madebme realize how easily ordinary conversations become precious.
I sometimes assume there will always be another chance to call tomorrow. Most days there probably will be.bBit life changes quietly, and ordinary moments are not guaranteed forever.Tonight, I decided not to postpone small conversations with people I love. Sometimes a five minute call can carry more meaning than we realize.
Today, I waited for a result that mattered to me. I refreshed the page repeatedly even though I knew checking again would not make it arrive faster.Evwry notification made my heart madevmy heart jump. I realized how difficult uncertainty can be when something important feels completely outside my control.
Eventually, I put my phone away and did something else. The result had not changed, but my mind felt calmer. I learned that waiting is not always passive . Sometimes it is an exercise in patience. I cannot control every outcome, but I can control how much of my day I surrender to anticipation.
Today, a teacher I had not spoken to in a long time remembered my name immediately. I was surprised because I had assumed I was just another student among many. That small recognition stayed with me throughout the day.It reminded me how meaningful it feels when someone remembers a detail about you.
I started thinking about teachers who influenced me without realizing it,cA correction, a question, or a few encouraging words can remain in someone's mind for years. Maybe we underestimate the impact we have on others. Tonight, I felt grateful for the people who noticed me when I was simply trying to find my way.
Today, I cleaned my phone and deleted hundreds of old screenshots., files, and random pictures. I expected it to feel like ordinary digital cleaning, but some images made me pause. There were conversations inhad forgotten places I no longer visit, and versions of myself I barely recognized anymore.
Deleting them felt strangely emotional because digital clutter can hold pieces of our past. Still, I realized keeping everything does not preserve every memory. Some momories remain meaningful without occupying storage. Tonight,my phone feels lighter, and strangely, so does my mind. Maybe letting go can sometimes be a quiet from of moving forward.
I stayed awake far too last night, thinking about things I could not control. Instead of forcing myself to sleep. I eventually sat near the window and watched the sky become lighter. The sunrise arrived quietly, without asking whether I had solved anything. Somehow, that silence made my thoughts feel smaller.
Nothing in my life had changed by morning, but I had changed slightly, I realized some problems do not need immediate answers. Sometimes the mind simply needs time to settle. Watching the sunrise reminded me that every difficult night eventually reaches morning, even when we cannot see light while inside it.
Today, a younger student asked me for help with something I once struggled to understand. I explained it slowly, rembering how confusing it had felt when I was learning. When they finally understood their smile made me unexpectedly proud. I realized knowledge feels different when it helps another person move forward.
It also made me remember the people who helped me without expecting anything in return. Their guidance seemed small to them, but it mattered to me. Maybe we never know which simple explanation, encouraging sentence, or patient moment becomes important in someone else's journey. I want to become that person for others.
When I was younger, I thought I knew exactly how my life would look.
I imagined myself being confident, independent, and successful. I thought I would have a clear career, a good job, and enough money to buy the things I wanted without asking anyone. I even imagined the kind of person I would become.Growing up made me realize that life doesn't really follow the plans we make for it.
After finishing school, I thought everything would become easier. Instead, I had morequestions than answers.
What should I study? What kind of job should I look for? Should I continue with the plan I already had or try something completely different?
Sometimes I would look at people my age and feel like they had figured everything out. Someone was getting selected for a job, someone was starting a business, and…
For a long time, I thought I was just lazy.
I would make plans at night and feel completely motivated. I would write down everything I wanted to do the next morning.Study for a few hours, learn something new, exercise, finish my work, and stay away from my phone.
But the next day, somehow, none of it happened.I would wake up late, check my phone for a few minutes, and suddenly an hour would disappear. Then I would feel guilty. I would tell myself that everyone else was moving forward while I was still standing in the same place. The worst part was that I knew I could do better.
People around me sometimes thought I wasn't serious about my future. Maybe I
The worst part was that I knew I could do better.
People around me sometimes thought I looked careless from the outside. But inside, I was …
There is something beautiful about girlhood that you don’t fully understand while you’re living it.It is in the little things you never thought would become memories.
It is getting ready with your friends even when there is nowhere important to go. It is borrowing someone’s lip balm, fixing each other’s hair, sharing secrets during class, and laughing so hard that your stomach hurts. It is having a favourite song and believing it somehow understands everything you’re feeling.
It is collecting tiny things for no reason—old photographs, movie tickets, handwritten notes, friendship bracelets, dried flowers, screenshots of conversations you never want to forget.
Girlhood is sitting on the floor of your room surrounded by clothes, books, and unfinished plans, talking about your future as if you…
Sometimes I wonder if i actually miss the old version of myself, or if I just miss how simple everything was back then.
I used to think growing up meant becoming more stronger, more confident, more certain about everything. Nobody really tells you that sometimes you grow up and still feel completely lost.
Maybe I don’t need to find my old self again.
Maybe I just need to accept that I have changed, even if i haven’t figured out who I’m becoming yet.
And maybe that’s okay.
I don’t think I miss a particular person.
I think I miss the version of myself I was before I started overthinking everything.
I used to make plans without calculating every possible way they could go wrong. I used to say what I felt without rewriting the sentence five times in my head. I laughed louder.
I trusted people more easily. I could have a bad day without turning it into a personality crisis.
Somewhere along the way, I became careful.
Careful about what I say.
Careful about who I trust.
Careful about how much I care.
Careful about looking stupid.
And I know being careful isn't necessarily bad. Life teaches you things, and some lessons are supposed to change you.
But sometimes I wonder if I learned the lesson a little too well.
I don't want to become the person who never gets hurt …
I think I’ve become really good at pretending I don’t care.
If someone takes hours to reply, I tell myself I’m busy anyway. If someone forgets something I told them, I laugh it off.
If someone disappoints me, I say, “It’s fine,” so naturally, everyone assumes it actually is.
The funny part is, sometimes I don’t even know when I’m pretending anymore.
I’ve convinced myself that being low-maintenance means never asking for too much. That being understanding means accepting everything quietly. That being independent means I shouldn’t need reassurance.
But sometimes I do.
Sometimes I want someone to notice that my “I’m okay” sounds different.
I want someone to ask twice.
I want to be able to say, “That hurt me,” without immediately feeling guilty for making things uncomfortable.
Maybe caring i…
For the past few weeks, I had been telling myself that I would start tomorrow.
Tomorrow I would wake up early. Tomorrow I would study properly. Tomorrow I wouldstop wasting time on my phone. Tomorrow I would finally work on the things I kept postponing.
But tomorrow kept becoming another tomorrow. One morning, I woke up and realized I was tired of making promises to myself.
Nothing dramatic happened. I didn't suddenly become motivated. I just got outof bed, opened the curtains, made a cup of tea, and sat at my desk.
My table was messy. There were books I hadn't opened in days, a notebook withhalf-finished plans, and a pen I had been looking for the previous night.
I cleaned the table first.
Then I wrote one thing on a blank page:
“Just start.”didn't make a huge timetable.
I didn't write ten…
There was a message I wrote many times but never sent.
It wasn't a long message. Just a few simple words that I had been carrying for months.hope you're doing okay.”
I don't know why those words felt so difficult to send.
Maybe because I knew that once I sent them, I would start waiting for a reply. And Ididn't want to go back to that feeling of checking my phone every few minutes.
We used to talk almost every day. There was always something to share—something funny that happened, a random thought, acomplaint about the day, or simply a “good night” before sleeping.
Then things changed.
Nothing dramatic happened. There was no huge argument. We just slowly became strangers. At first, I kept thinking it was temporary. I thought one day we'd talk like before.
But days became weeks, and weeks be…
Sometimes I keep asking myself…
Am I not good enough?
This is a love marriage. We chose each other. We fought for each other. We went through so much just to be together.
So after marriage, is it really wrong for me to expect honesty, respect, and boundaries?
Is it okay for my husband to hide conversations, delete chats, stay in contact with an ex without telling me, lie about things, or have sexual conversations with other women?
I don't want to control who he talks to. I don't want to stop him from having friends.
But when I tell him something hurts me, ask him not to repeat it, and the same things happen again… what am I supposed to feel?
Am I being too sensitive?
Am I expecting too much?
I've explained my feelings so many times that I'm exhausted.
And now I keep asking myself questio…
Today, I had to decide whether to spend my money on something I wanted or save it for something more useful.. It was not a huge amount, but making the decision, felt strangely serious. For the first time, I understood that having money also means choosing what deserves a place in my future.
I did not buy the thing immediately. Instead, I waited and thought about whether I truly needed it. That small pause taught me something about responsibility. Money disappears quietly when every desire feels urgent. Maybe growing up is partly learning to tell the difference between wanting something now and valuing something later.
